About
Claire Graner
Claire Graner, a proud native of Mandan, North Dakota, grew up on a grain and cattle ranch in Huff, where she developed a lifelong love for agriculture, rodeo, and the Western way of life. From her early days competing in junior high and high school rodeo, Claire demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication, earning a spot as a two-time national qualifier in pole bending. She also shined as the 2018 Miss North Dakota High School Rodeo Queen, laying the foundation for her future in rodeo pageantry.
While pursuing her journalism degree at North Dakota State University, Claire competed on the college rodeo team and served as team president during her junior and senior years. Following her graduation in December 2023, Claire returned home to Huff to work in digital marketing for Gold Buckle Tack. Her passion for local businesses and her expertise in marketing fuel her dream of starting her own digital marketing firm, all while continuing to assist her father on their family ranch.
In June 2024, Claire captured the prestigious title of Miss Rodeo North Dakota during the pageant held at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora. Excelling in Horsemanship, Appearance, Personality, and Speech, she also earned the Legacy of the Cowgirl Award and an educational scholarship.
As Miss Rodeo North Dakota 2025, Claire will travel extensively, promoting rodeo, Western heritage, and the values of her community. Her journey will culminate in competing for Miss Rodeo America in December 2025. With grace, grit, and a Chevy vehicle courtesy of Heartland Chevy & Wilhelm Chevrolet of Jamestown, Claire is ready to represent her state and the sport she loves.
