Ashlyn Williams, crowned Miss Rodeo Texas 2024 on June 21st in San Antonio, represents the epitome of dedication, passion, and Texas pride. Hailing from Boyd, Texas, Ashlyn is a 23-year-old fourth-generation rodeo competitor with a deep love for agriculture and rodeo. She was crowned after competing as Miss Rodeo North Texas Fair, earning top honors in the Test, Speech, Appearance, Personality, and Horsemanship categories.
Ashlyn is a 2023 cum laude graduate of West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education. With her sights set on becoming a high school agriculture teacher, Ashlyn’s platform, “United by Ag,” aims to inspire the next generation of agriculturists and encourage youth involvement in the agricultural community. When not on the rodeo circuit, Ashlyn enjoys traveling to barrel racing jackpots and immersing herself in the outdoors, often preferring cleaning stalls to washing dishes!
As Miss Rodeo Texas 2024, Ashlyn will travel over 50,000 miles promoting professional rodeo, Western heritage, and agriculture across the state. Her prize package includes a trophy saddle, trophy belt buckle, custom cowboy hats, luggage, and a scholarship sponsored by Pepsi. Representing a proud Texas tradition, Ashlyn is dedicated to preserving the state’s Western heritage and showcasing the importance of agriculture and rodeo in today’s world.
Her reign will inspire not only rodeo fans but also the future leaders of agriculture, as she continues to promote the values that make Texas proud.
