The LWx Custom Hats Story
Laura Willcox’s journey began as a sports medicine professional traveling the rodeo circuit, where her love for Western hats grew from admiration to obsession. What started as a passion project soon became a full-fledged business, launched in 2023, as she began teaching herself every aspect of hat-making. Her husband, Connor, brings his own creative flair and business insight to the company, helping shape a brand that celebrates Western heritage with a modern twist.

One of LWx Custom Hats’ most exciting offerings is the LWx Hat Bar—a mobile and in-person hat-making experience where guests can design their own custom hat in a fun, interactive setting. Perfect for private events, girls’ nights, pop-up markets, and celebrations, the Hat Bar brings together creativity, fashion, and Western flair. With the guidance of the LWx team, participants hand-pick hat styles, bands, accessories, and more, walking away with a hat that’s both stylish and meaningful. The Hat Bar experience is ideal for parties of all kinds and offers a unique, unforgettable activity guests will talk about long after the event.
